Asleep in a Miniature Garden: Episode 1

In a separate dimension from the human world exists the land of gods: Astra. There, in the name of the Supreme God Zeus, star gods watch over humans.

Enter Castor, one of the star gods of Gemini. He receives word from his sister, Pollux, that she is waiting for him at the distant Zodiac Palace. Hm? He’s not allowed to go outside, though… 

When he attempts to leave, he is met with something he could have never expected, and the curtain rises on Castor’s awakening.

Asleep in a Miniature Garden (or “Hakoniwa no Nemuri”) is an adventure game with horror elements made in Wolf RPG Editor by Nobiti. It is an episodic four-part series, currently being translated into English by iamyourmagician (me!). Playtime for Episode 1 is about 3-4 hours.

Content warnings:

• Blood, fatal injuries, death, murder
• Guns
• Slight themes of religion
• Suicidal thoughts
• Dereality/unreality

The puzzles in the game are not particularly difficult — the game progresses very smoothly. If you don’t know what to do or where to go, open the Speak tab in the menu and the characters may give you hints. Alternatively, press Shift or C and see your objective in the top left corner.
